Mina Mazzolari is a co owner of my company and we work already over 19 years together.
Her ability to create a magnificent instrument is the perfect combination of craftsmanship, taste and physical understanding of what we dedicate our lives.
This cello is a very special model inspired by Matteo Goffriller’s work around 1701. At first sight you notice its generous body, almost abundant in its outline, but then your eyes are caught by the unusually small scroll, a surprising contrast that gives the whole instrument a charming and playful character. The f-holes are also remarkably small, delicate details that make this cello stand out immediately.
Do not let its unusual proportions fool you. The sound is powerful, well balanced and full of personality. The broad body gives a deep, embracing resonance, while the small details bring a touch of elegance and individuality. It is the kind of cello that makes you smile when you see it and even more when you play it.
A rare model with a strong identity, ready to open up a world of warmth, projection and joy.
